So when I set out on this task I really didn't think it would be any big deal.  I thought oh it'll be easy just like the other cabinet!  WRONG!  So I decided this would be a two part organization.  To begin I found a place for everything.  Basically I took these baskets and labeled them.  I put together the men's care, women's car, first aid and so on.  Now I still have to take care of the mess of hot irons and all of my headbands (the first picture on the left).  Then on to the linens and I will be finished.  So stay tuned for the finished product.  Also so far I have spent $5.00 (plus tax)!  (luckily I already owned the totes with the drawers)

Today A little Treat and friends went to a parade in downtown St. Louis.  It was a parade to welcome home Iraq war veterans. So please take a moment to look at all these great pictures of the many troops and supporters of troops.  I am very thankful for this great nation we live in and very thankful to all the men and women protecting the United States of America.

So with Super Bowl coming up I wanted to try out a new appetizer.  I have a love for dip and for potatoes so I decided this would be perfect!  This recipe was delicious and I will definitely be taking it to my next party!

Alright first I can't believe I am even posting picture of my horrible closet but alas here we are.  So my next goal is to tackle this mess.  If your bathroom/linen closet looks anything like this, then stay tuned in the next coming week.  I will organize my closet on a dollar store budget and I am going to use some ideas I found on Pinterest!

Personally I blame the mess on the dog.  I guess after a while I can't do that anymore!  Do you have any suggestions for organizing this craziness?  Let me know!  I appreciate all little tips!  Happy Treats!

So if you saw my blog last night you know that I made Greek yogurt covered strawberries.  Well I wasn't thrilled with the bitterness of the Greek yogurt and my sweetie was even less thrilled.  He did try them and ate them I have to give him that much!  So tonight I decided to make chocolate covered strawberries for him instead.  Simply dip your strawberries in chocolate, let sit a few minutes and drizzle some tinted white chocolate on top!  This is such an easy tasty treat that you can get the whole family involved!  If your down to the wire on Valentine's Day and need a treat, stick to this five minute dessert!  Happy Treats!

Just because it is Valentine's Day it doesn't mean you have to blow your whole diet with sugary sweets.  Just try this: you will need fresh strawberries and Greek yogurt.  Simply dip the strawberries into the yogurt and freeze for a bit.  You have a healthy snack that is perfect for Valentine's Day without all of the calories.  I found this idea on Pinterest and it originally cam from weheartit.com

*Update: We tried these after I posted about them and it turns out my boyfriend and I were not thrilled.  I do love how they look but we had to sweeten them up just a bit.  I would suggest a no cal sweetner such as Truvia or my coworker is going to try using Honey and/or chocolate syrup!  Happy Treats!

So tonight I decided to take on the challenge of making Boston Cream Pie!  I have been wanting to try this recipe for a very long time.  So today was the day and it was the perfect treat to end my weekend!  Check out which recipe I used!

Tonight I made some Valentine's Day Cake "Pops". I didn't put my pops on a stick because they were a little too big and heavy!  But they are still made like a cake pop!  For these pops I used a marble cake, vanilla icing and vanilla candy coating.  With all of these flavors combined they taste like a zebra cake!  Read more for some tips!

So I decided with the new year it was time for me to get all the paper under control.  Since they are the most important I started with the bills.  Here is what you will need: a three ring binder, tab dividers, 2012 printable calender, triple hole punch, red and black pen or marker.

Picture
I put my calender in the front and marked my bill due dates in black and then when I pay them I write paid in red.  Then label your tabs with your different bills for example house payment, electric and water bill.  Then place your bills in the correct divider and your ready to go!  I love this idea because now I have all my bills in one spot and I can put all the confirmations from when I paid in there to.

I found this idea on another blog and if anyone has seen it please let me know where.  I would love to be able to give credit where it is due!  Thank you!
