So this week I am obsessed with the awesome things I saw at Girl's Night Out last Friday! If you were not able to make it out I strongly suggest you check out these places!
So first I have to talk about The Wallach House, they host Girl's Night Out. They have so many things including wine gourmet food and these great towels! Check out their
Facebook page for upcoming events and products!
Clear Classics has the coolest etched glass! I can't get over how beautifully the glass glows in candle light. Check out her shop on
Etsy or find her on
Facebook.
Also I can't say enough about the awesome jewelry at Vintage Baubles and Bits. Check out their shop on
Etsy or find them on
Facebook.
So this weekend I definitely had a treat! My cousin came down and stayed with me and we made the cutest cupcakes for her sister's shower!
So it is that time of week again and this week it is all about being frugal! I have been seeing some awesome things popping up all over the place that will help us be a little more money savvy, a little more environmentally friendly and definitely healthier with making products without all the toxins! I can't wait to try the things I am about to share and I will let you know how they work out!
OK so I decided I wanted to try something a little different. I have so many different obsession and I would like to share some of them with you guys! Please feel free to leave me feedback on how you feel about this. Also please let me know if you have an obsession you want me to check out! I love finding new places, reading new things and trying new ideas!
So on to it then. My birthday is just around the corner on Sunday and this year I decided I wanted to have an old Hollywood glamour party. Think Marilyn Monroe, James Dean, Frank Sinatra and of course Mad Men! Now what brought this on is my secret obsession with old Hollywood glamour and vintage items. So without further ado here are some of the places I am obsessed with right now....
This is my first ever sewing project that I've done in about 12 years! I was super excited about it because I was trying out sewing again and I made this for my nephew for Christmas! It was super simple basically take two equal sizes of different color fleece and sew it together and then cut the sides to make tassels. I used 2 yards so it would grow with him and I left about 4 inches for the tassels! And that's it! I saved this project for baseball season so Go Cards and Happy Treats!
I think he likes it!
OK my friends it is that time again! The time has come for this months Mom's Crazy Cooking Challenge. So I will have to say I was so super excited to see the challenge for this month. Not only was it for muffins which I love but blueberry muffins! Oh my goodness I can't even tell you how happy I am when I have a nice warm muffin fresh out of the oven. Alright enough about me and my obsession with sweets let's move on to the good stuff!
