This is my first ever sewing project that I've done in about 12 years!  I was super excited about it because I was trying out sewing again and I made this for my nephew for Christmas!  It was super simple basically take two equal sizes of different color fleece and sew it together and then cut the sides to make tassels.  I used 2 yards so it would grow with him and I left about 4 inches for the tassels!  And that's it!  I saved this project for baseball season so Go Cards and  Happy Treats!

I think he likes it!

Last night I had a craving for chocolate and so I did what I always do, I looked to Pinterest for some inspiration.  I came across these little guys and knew I had to make it immediately.  It's pretty awesome also that  you most likely have all of the ingredients in your pantry now!  Happy Treats!

Ingredients:
1 cup chunky peanut butter (I used smooth and it came out great!)
2 tbsp melted butter
1 cup sifted powdered sugar
6 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 tbsp butter

Directions:
1. In a medium bowl, combine the peanut butter, melted butter, and powdered sugar. Blend with a fork until well mixed.
2. Shape into 1-inch balls. Place on a baking sheet and refrigerate for 1 hour.
3. Combine chocolate chips and solid butter. Heat until melted and smooth when stirred, either in a double boiler or in the microwave.
4. Using a fork, dip the balls in the melted chocolate. Let the excess drip off and place the dipped balls on a waxed paper-lined baking sheet. Refrigerate until hardened.

To celebrate Spring and the upcoming Easter holiday I made a couple different cake pops!  Pictured are the Spring has Sprung Pops click here to learn more.

For the egg pops I simply shaped the cake into an egg and then I dipped and decorated.  I put them in plastic egg holders and an egg carton!
For the nests I made a cylinder shape and pushed down in the middle.  I dyed some coconut green to make grass and added some Robin's Egg candies!

Happy Treats!
