So a few weeks ago KC Bakes celebrated their 1st Birthday and in celebration they decided to do a week of giveaways.  So that it awesome right?  Who doesn't LOVE giveaways much less a week of them.  So I did what everyone did I entered all of them.  I never thought I would win, I mean I never win anything.  Then one day I received a wonderful e-mail saying that I WON and that I am totally awesome (OK the last part may be a fib).  I was so super excited because it was the giveaway Waiting on Martha was putting together for KC Bakes.   

Now I had already heard of KC Bakes and the awesome pop stands they make.  Waiting on Martha was a new one for me but as soon as I saw the Etsy shop I knew I was going to be obsessed!  Be sure to go check these awesome chicky's out and tell them they are cool!

In the meantime check out this bread mix I received in my basket of goodies.  Oh good lord it is so delicious.  I would strongly suggest buying at least two bags and sending me one and keeping the other for yourself.  Happy Treats! 

It is that time again!  Time for the Crazy Cooking Challenge.  I was really excited about this month when I heard we were doing Grilled Cheese.  It's such a classic and pretty much everyone has a memory of a Grilled Cheese I bet.  I can remember growing up and having them with tomato soup.  This was a specialty of my Dad's and somehow they are never as delicious as when I was a kid eating them at the breakfast bar with my Dad.  I will have to say this one definitely takes a close second.  When I saw Spinach and Artichoke Grilled Cheese I knew I found the recipe.  

So the people spoke and they wanted to see the Italian Bocconotti Cookies!  I have never made a cookie like this before so I was super excited to try it out.  They remind me of a muffin mixed with a cookie.  So my sweet and I decided they could be called a mookin!
