Well now is the time when we begin to take down our decorations and try to store them as safely and organized as possible for the next year. Here is a little tip from my Mom and Nanny, when storing your ornaments leave the hangers on them. Not only does it save time when putting them away but also next year when hanging them.
I hope everyone had a very happy holiday! Here are some pictures of my family decorating our tree this year! They are a little late but I just wanted to share our family's tradition of hanging the ornaments together! Click read more to see the fun and the beautiful Christmas tree.
Here is my take on Nanny's beautiful small table centerpiece. I used a wreath as my center and then added a gold beaded garland. For a pop of color I added red Christmas ornaments on top of the wreath. Then I filled a martini glass (I don't have a compote) with different colored ornaments and silver tinsel. And for my candle element I put in crystal candlesticks (I ran out of tapers eep!). You can make either centerpiece or your own variation and it is perfect for a small table and a definite conversation starter!
For my December guest blogger I asked my Nanny. She is a huge inspiration to me. Her house is always decorated to the nines, no matter if it is Christmas or a beautiful Spring day. So if you need great ideas for your centerpiece or what to do with your chandelier for Christmas, read more for tips and tricks from Nanny!
