History in the Baking
I was told once that if you can read you can cook. No truer words were ever spoken. This statement can hold true for so many things in life. Meaning, if you take the time and work hard you can do anything. Yes it is as cliché as it sounds. Not too long ago I decided to take a journey and expand my culinary experience and learn how to cook; from savory to sweet, from baking to broiling and everything in between. From making my own centerpieces to decorating my new home and a plethora of other things. It has been so fun and rewarding that I want to share my experiences!
My mission: to increase my knowledge of cooking, delve further into the baking world, do-it-yourself projects and learning more about the “old” way of doing things. Together we will be embarking on my journey as a 26 year old woman in a modern world trying to re-imagine the old fashion ways of doing things.

So here is a little bit about me....
I am 26 years old and grew up and still call Union, Missouri my home. Other than my desire to learn about all things cooking, baking, decorating and old fashioned; I also work full time at a law firm and part time bar tending. I am a huge bookworm and I love getting lost in the worlds authors create. I run while listening to good tunes to relax and will run my first 5K next year and I hope to run a half-marathon before I am 30. I am a shopaholic and love all things fashion. Nothing means more to me than my family, my boyfriend and my girls. One day I hope to realize my dream and have a bakery that specializes in A Little Treat for all occasions.
