So this is a story about a girl who just moved into her house and found out how messy things can get! At the time I was not at all amused but now I can laugh about it! I had just moved into my new house and my new off white/white (it's called snowdrift so whatever that would be) was installed and gorgeous. Now that the carpet was in place, the painting was done and all the furniture was moved in it was time for me to start having the family out to see. My parents came, my sister came, friends came and I decided to have my Nanny and Grandad over for dinner. Well as anyone knows the few days before a dinner party you are running around with a tool belt of cleaning supplies and a broom permanently attached to your hand. That was me crazed with cleaning (bless Ryan's heart for putting up with me). So it was the night before and the house looked amazing. I was prepping some food for the next day while my puppy was playing outside. He eventually came to the door and told me he wanted in. Then it all happened, you see it rained that day so you probably know where this is going. Chase (my puppy) went on his merry way while I was oblivious to all the muddy footprints in my kitchen. I went to the office to tell Ryan something and that's when I saw it, the muddy footprints all over my carpet. So of course I did what any women would do in this situation I screamed! Poor Chase didn't know what to think so he ran to guest bedroom getting more muddy footprints in there. And yes you guessed it I followed. Then being the smart puppy he is he ran into the master bedroom. That was the moment Chase won and there was no going back. So the next night I proceeded to show my new house off with my paint, furniture and new muddy paw print white carpet. I was able to clean up most of the surfaces with some good ol' bleach. Nanny and Grandad thought it was hilarious of course and we still laugh about it now. I have learned my lesson now, when there is a rainstorm and the puppy comes in he stays gated in the kitchen till all of his little paws are nice and dry and clean! And that my friends is one of many adventures with Chase! Happy Treats! I ‘m sharing my messy moment for the chance to win prizes from TidyMom as part of Clorox’s Bleach It Away campaign .
