I'm really excited about tonight's blog! This is the first of my upcoming DIY projects! Read more to find out how I took this flea market find and turned it into the perfect accent chair for my living room! First you need to find the fabric to cover your chair. I chose something that would bring out the reds in my living room. I also found that my fabric has so many different colors that I can draw from for future decorating. Next find the perfect center for your chair. I really wanted to showcase the beautiful blue and red flower. After you have found your chosen spot pin down your fabric. Be sure to pin in the back also so you have a guide when you staple it in. Trim any excess fabric away but be sure to leave enough to staple down. When you have all your pins down and your fabric trimmed turn your seat over and pull all your corners tight and lay the fabric so it sets nicely on the corners. Now you are ready for your staple gun. Put plenty of staples in so the fabric will not pull out at any point! Just put the seat back down and screw it on your chair and you are ready to enjoy! I found this chair at the Wallach House flea market for $20.00 and the fabric I also purchased at the Wallach House for $0.25! I was able to make my perfect accent chair for only $20.25 and it is one of a kind! A special thanks to my Nanny and Grandad for all your help making my beautiful chair! I am linked up with Tidy Mom
