I finished organizing my mayhem cabinet yesterday!  I spent $8.00 (plus tax) and I was able to get all of my supplies at the dollar tree.  Read more to find out how I organized my cabinet and see some before and after photos.

I started my project with my spices.  I don't have the room in my kitchen for a spice rack and I don't really have the room in my cabinet for any of the specialty spice racks.  I decided I would use these wire baskets.  I can pull  them out easily to find the spice I need.  While I was working with my spices I decided I needed a list so I would know what I have and need.  If you missed my post yesterday click here for the list I use.

So next I needed to deal with all the boxes and bags.  I bought two containers for the flour and sugar, a two pack of sturdy containers for the other sugars and then a pack of containers for all of my different teas.  I simply labeled mine with a marker but you could definitely use labels or whatever you wish.

When I took everything out of my cabinet I realized I had bags of chocolate chips and things all over the place.  So I just found a small tote to contain all of those in one area.  The other thing I found were just random items like soup and dip mixes and I did the same with those.

Finally I just had to put the cabinet back together.  That is how I took my cabinet from complete mayhem to an organized dream for me!  I'm so excited about getting things organized and being able to see what I have and knowing what I need!  Not only does it help with not stressing when I open my cabinet but it also saves me money so I am not buying items I already have!  Happy Treats!

Your cabinet looks fantastic! I use those containers with the blue lids for my flour and powdered sugar too. They also make a fantastic holder for cupcake papers. I am definitely going to try out a few wire baskets for my spices as well. Thank you for the great tips!
