Slow-Cooker Ham

So Christmas is less than a week away. And now if we have not already it is time to decide what is on the menu for Christmas day. Now normally I host brunch at my house which I absolutely LOVE. Any excuse for family, mimosas and a great mini quiche. Then we head to my Grandparents for a lite snack and to my parents for a delicious dinner. It is a fun filled day of food, family and fun! This year I decided to plan a Christmas dinner menu. I am not the host but it was definitely fun to do a run through on the menu for me and my sweet. I have to say if I ever did host this ham would be my main dish! Not only is this dish delicious but your house will smell amazing ALL DAY! Opening the lid to your slow-cooker will make you drool and you may not even

​want to share. It pairs perfectly with mashed potatoes and green bean casserole which can be as easy or difficult to make as you want.
​ Another reason this ham is perfect is because you put it in your slow-cooker and forget about it until it is finished. You will be able to enjoy the company of your family while your delicious dish is cooking away! Have I convinced you yet? Alright then I will keep going...... just kidding. Gather your ingredients and get to cooking!

Slow-Cooker Ham

Pre-cooked bone in ham (mine was about 5 pounds)
3 cups of brown sugar
20 oz. can of pineapple tidbits

1. Cover the bottom of slow-cooker with 2 cups of the brown sugar
2. Place ham in slow-cooker and then put pineapple with juice on top
3. Pour remaing brown sugar on top
4. Cook on high for 4 to 4 and a half hours
​5. ENJOY!
