Valentine's Day Conversation Cake "Pops"

Tonight I made some Valentine's Day Cake "Pops". I didn't put my pops on a stick because they were a little too big and heavy!  But they are still made like a cake pop!  For these pops I used a marble cake, vanilla icing and vanilla candy coating.  With all of these flavors combined they taste like a zebra cake!  Read more for some tips!

For the heart cake pops you will start the same way as a normal cake pop.  First crumble your cake and then mix in your icing.

Next I used a heart shaped cookie cutter and smashed the cake into it.  Then gently press the cake out of the cookie cutter onto a cookie sheet covered in wax paper.  Freeze your cakes for about a half an hour then you are ready to dip!

Dipping these guys was really tough I ended up using a skewer to dip them.  I lost a lot of good pops along the way and it was not pretty!
